![]() ![]() Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water: Initially a WiiU exclusive, now available on all modern platforms. It's a neat concept, but I greatly prefer the mainline console releases. The 3DS itself is also used as the Camera Obscura, and you're basically playing the game as yourself in whatever location you're in. Comes with a booklet that is used with the 3DS camera's AR feature to play the game. Fatal Frame 2 HD Remake: Wii only, only available in Asia and Europe, different enough from 2/Director's Cut to be considered a new entry, the game now has an over-the-shoulder perspective instead of the fixed camera angles from the original release of 2, new voice actors for the dub, new costumes, even more endings, and much better graphics. There's a fan patch that translates the text and subtitles so you can play the game on a modded Wii. Fatal Frame 4: Wii only, and only ever sold in Asia. You can buy it digitally for the PS3 though. ![]() There's technically 7 entries in the series, 8 if you count the WiiU and current releases of MOBW as two different entries: Fatal Frame: PS2 and Xbox (I think both versions are basically the same, Xbox version has slightly better graphics) Fatal Frame 2: PS2, Director's Cut version for Xbox (new ending, new difficulty, FPS mode, survival mode, more costumes, graphics are a little better) Fatal Frame 3: PS2 only. ![]()
